Just buy it, it's very comfortable for touring I've completed many trips alone on this beast, it can also perform well in racing too many things are similar to duke and rc 390 you can get same power on both bikes. I am very happy with this bike just buy it and enjoy it and its 43ps can give you feel.

Perfect Bike - I am in love.. Are you?

1. This was a bit bad which almost led me to cancel the purchase. Caught the salesperson red-handed selling me an old bike telling as a new bike. Then the owner of the showroom helped me get new from the factory.2. Riding this bike is an amazing experience for me as I have upgraded from a 150cc FZS (no doubt an awesome bike). The acceleration and the throttle are mind-blowing.. never stop amazing you. The performance at the price point is amazing. Now Adventure X will be more value for money. For Indian roads a perfect bike. Some things to note: bike gets hotter when riding in city traffic, vibration will be issued when you start riding this bike, but soon it grows onto you.Gear change behavior is different compared to small city bikes. So needs to practice for being accustomed.3. Looks amazing from stock. When you add a bigger windshield, engine guard, top rack, and other accessories it gives you a feel of a big adventure bike.Performance I already mentioned in point 2. This bike looks big but is very easy to maneuver, and feels light while riding. The seat height is high, which asks for a taller rider. I am 5 11, so not an issue for me. Headlight is also good but for touring/night, aux lights will be needed.4. I am still in my break-in period. So will share this later.5. Pros - A very capable and feature-packed bike at the price point. Adv X will be more VFM. I have never driven any bigger adv bikes, so I cannot compare. This bike is perfect for the Indian market. The performance it offers at the price point is no match for any other brand. Cons - other than vibrations, and the gear ratio(although designed for the bike) there are no other cons.No stalling issues, a low-end issue not much to worry about when you get suited to this bike and gear shifts. You will see many reviews, many negative feedbacks. You might reconsider, but once you experience it yourself you will love the bike.I will always recommend people to get this bike when upgrading from a City bike.

A great all-purpose bike

Hi! I own a 2022 KTM 390 Adventure and have completed around 6000 km, most of it on the pavement, some over hilly roads, a few challenging ones, and a little off-road. My height is 5'9" just and I weigh around 52 kgs(<50 when I bought the bike). With my body parameters, I was a little skeptical about being able to handle the bike as I bought the bike without even test riding any KTM bike, not even sitting on one ever. The waiting period was around 1.5 months and the delivery experience was nice. The bike has great looks and awesome performance. Initially, I did have little issue with the tall seat height but l quickly gained confidence with the same and also about the overall handling of the bike. I have recently accomplished my first ever hilly road ride of around 200 kms and was astonished to find out how effortlessly I could do it, not to mention the superb handling, lightweight and power available. Also, want to mention that I had a pillion and around 10 kgs of luggage on board during the hilly ride. I feel the bike just once during this hilly ride while getting off of the bike from the right side after putting it on the side stand with just a crack on the knuckle guard which I have fixed temporarily with glue( and it worked quite nicely) and no other significant damage, so, I will not have to incur any expenses on repairs as off now. The ride on the pavement was fabulous too in all respects, me being mostly the fastest on the road here in India with the other bikes and cars being lesser in terms of power, the only limiting factor is how much of the road irregularities my back can take on this bike, which, of course, it does fairly well, with me having some back pain initially but which got relieved as I got accustomed to the bike and made some changes to my riding style and technique and posture, not to mention the slight adjustment of preload that I made. All in all, I am thoroughly satisfied with my decision to buy this bike and am missing it while being away from it for a few days. To date, the bike has been pretty reliable except for one of the fork seals leaking oil from the start but which was fixed on the second service under warranty with a seal replacement. I am looking forward to having a lot more fun and adventure on this motorcycle.

Tips for other riders
Regular chain cleaning and lubrication is a must to learn for every rider, not to mention the periodic chain tension adjustment. It would be a great idea to own a puncture repair kit and a portable tyre inflator that works well with the 12V socket provided on the bike.

Best adventure sport's tourer!!!!

The buying experience is always good with ktm, I got it from kanjur Marg ktm, and there was a waiting period, but I did get it to a decent time period. The riding experience is the best it is so smooth and refined, yet rugged & powerful!!!, With a 2023 factory ktm colour, the 390 adventure stands apart and gets that rich look that the bike deserves, servicing is decent, not that great, but the bike overall is worth buying, value foro money, and does the job of 650cc motorcycle, what else do you really need.

Bike that teaches riding discipline

The bike is one of the best bike around 4 lakhs budget. The road presence is very good compared to other bikes around this budget. You will definitely get the attention of the crowd. The bike needs to be driven in a respectful manner like taking care of proper gear selection according to respective rpm, otherwise, the bike will stall. Maintenance cost is moderate considering it is a 400cc bike. But spare parts cost is cheaper than bmw, kawasaki and availability are also good.Pros- 1. Performance 2. Fuel economy3. Riding posture4. Electronic packageCons-1. Ride comfort- the seat is very hard 2. Stalling issues if not driven in a particular gear3. Absence of suspension adjustability4. Missing hazard lights function even though the bike has the best electronic features compared to an 8-9 lakh bikeOverall if looking for a first adv/all-rounder bike with a low budget and new to the bike world, this is the best bike to consider.

Value for money.Good for long rides.Amazing comfort.Loaded with electronics.Service costs are reasonable. The riding position is comfortable. Had to install a handlebar raiser for my height (5'11) easy to ride in the city.Avg 28kmpl mileage.Low-end torque will make you use 1st gears for humps. Not a complete off-roader, but a great bike for off-road modification as it is lightweight.
