Yamaha has replaced the FZ1 with the newly launched MT-09 in India. The light and fast motorcycle with a new wave three-cylinder engine replaces the comparatively older inline-four cylinder FZ1.
The newest member of the FZ family, the 2015 FZ-07, has been launched in the US market for USD 6,990 (Rs 4.2 lakh). The naked motorcycle fills a gap in the segment and falls in the common ground where it is fit to be ridden by novices, but will also excite a seasoned rider.
Yamaha has launched the 2013 FZ1 – the eldest sibling of the FZ series that has bikes like FZ6 and FZ16. The FZ1 is powered by a DOHC fuel injected 998cc four cylinder engine and is designed to handle sporty riding as well as provide mid-range power for high-speed cruising.
