The Suzuki Intruder M800 is a smaller version of the massive Suzuki M1800. It is a cruiser motorcycle with all the right features to giving it the touring pedigree. It embodies exactly the same design as the larger motorcycle which means that it is low slung, long and filled with a large amount of chrome all over and fitted with a massive LED tail lamp to give the premium appeal.
The Suzuki M800 is powered by an 805cc carburetted V-twin engine that produces 50bhp and 65Nm of torque. Power is sent to the rear wheel via a five-speed sequential gearbox and a shaft drive just like the larger motorcycle. It does 0-100kmph in 2.9 seconds and will go on to hit a top speed of 209kmph.
Sitting in the main seat the most noticeable feature is the single piece analogue speedometer with a digital display for the trip meters. The indicators and neutral light have been placed on the tank above the fuel filler cap. The M800 can be had in two shades for the Indian market-metallic alba blue and sparkle black.
