Suzuki India launches E20-compliant V-Strom SX, Gixxer 250

-         V-Strom SX is now E20 compliant 

-         Gixxer 250 meets the new norms too 

-         No increase in prices 

Suzuki India has finally introduced E20-compliant 250cc motorcycles. The company has launched the 2023 V-Strom SX and the Gixxer 250. These bikes now meet E20 compliance, meaning these motorcycles can run on petrol with an ethanol blend of up to 20 per cent. Through this compliance, the government is trying to reduce its fuel imports by a significant margin.   

The Japanese brand has decided not to increase the V-Strom SX and the Gixxer 250 series prices. The V-Strom SX continues to be priced at Rs 2.11 lakh, and the Gixxer 250 range is priced between Rs 1.81 lakh and Rs 2.02 lakh for the top variant. 

Suzuki made its scooter range of Access, Avenis and Burgman Street E20 compliant a few months ago. With its 250cc range meeting the new norms, Suzuki’s all showroom will only sell the E20 compliant models. The bike bookings have already commenced, and the deliveries are expected to occur in the next few days.
