About Jive

The Jive is a clutchless commuter motorcycle from the TVS Motor Company. It is a unique product made with the intention of making riding in stop-go traffic easy.

The Jive doesn’t get too many features and gets an analogue speedometer, gear indicator and fuel gauge. It features a clear lens headlamp integrated in a fairing that gives the motorcycle a simple yet purposeful look.

The Phoenix is powered by a 110cc air-cooled single-cylinder engine that pumps out 8bhp and 8Nm mated to a four-speed gearbox. It has a claimed fuel economy figure of 62kmpl.

It features a single downtube chassis with telescopic coil spring suspension in the front and a hydraulic twin shock absorbers with coil springs at the rear. It gets a fuel tank capacity of 15 litres with a usable reserve of 2.1 litres.

The Phoenix is 1975mm long, 700m wide, 1060mm high and has a wheelbase of 1265mm. It gets ample ground clearance of 165mm and weighs 114kg.

The Jive has no direct competition and is the sole motorcycle of its kind on sale in India.
