About Creon

TVS Creon is expected to launch in India in December 2023 in the expected price range of ₹ 1,00,000 to ₹ 1,20,000. Currently available bikes which are similar to Creon are Okaya Faast F2F, Ampere Zeal EX & iVOOMi Jeet X. Another bike similar to Creon is Kawasaki Versys X-300 which is launching in June 2023 in India.

The TVS Creon is an electric scooter concept that was unveiled at the 2018 Auto Expo. It boasts of a host of features, beginning with a Li-ion battery pack that produces 12kW of power. The company claims that this is good for a 0-60kph time of 5.1 seconds, and a range of 80km is possible. Additionally, the batteries can be charged to 80 percent in a single hour.

The chassis is a perimeter frame, and it gets the same alloy wheels, tyres and front disc brake as the Ntorq 125. A rear disc brake and single-channel ABS will be present as well. However, we expect some of these things to change – for example, tyres with less grip will extend the range of the scooter.

The concept also had a TFT colour screen, and sported features like app connectivity that showed that it had cloud connectivity, three riding modes, regenerative braking, park assist (yes, on a scooter), anti theft, GPS and navigation, and geofencing.

TVS has a history of bringing concepts it shows at one Auto Expo to production by the following Auto Expo, which means that the Creon should be ready for production by the beginning of 2020. However, without the government providing adequate infrastructure for charging electric vehicles, it doesn’t seem likely that the Creon will go to production anytime soon.
