The tvs apache rtr 160 is a popular motorcycle model manufactured by tvs motor company, a leading two-wheeler manufacturer in India. It is known for its sporty design, performance, and affordability. Let's take a detailed look at the features and specifications of the tvs apache rtr 160.
Design:
The apache rtr 160 features an aggressive and muscular design that exudes a sporty appeal. It has a sharp headlamp with led drls (daytime running lights), a sculpted fuel tank, a split-seat configuration, and a sleek tail section. The bike also incorporates sporty graphics and color schemes that enhance its visual appeal.
Engine:
The apache rtr 160 is powered by a 159.7cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine. The engine is capable of producing impressive power and torque figures. The power output ranges between 15.12 to 16.02 horsepower, depending on the variant, and the torque output is around 14.8 nm. The engine is mated to a smooth 5-speed gearbox.
Performance:
The apache rtr 160 offers peppy performance and quick acceleration. It has a good power-to-weight ratio, which contributes to its energetic ride. The bike can reach a top speed of around 110 km/h, depending on various factors such as rider weight and road conditions.
Handling and suspension:
The apache rtr 160 is built on a high-rigidity double cradle frame, which provides excellent stability and handling. It features telescopic front forks and a rear mono shock suspension, offering a comfortable and controlled ride. The bike's chassis and suspension setup allows for confident cornering and agile maneuvering.
Brakes and safety:
Tvs equip the apache rtr 160 with disc brakes at the front and rear, ensuring efficient braking performance. Additionally, some variants come with the option of single-channel abs (anti-lock braking system), which enhances safety by preventing wheel lock-up during sudden braking.
Features:
The apache rtr 160 comes with several features that enhance the riding experience. Some notable features include a fully digital instrument cluster that displays information like speed, fuel level, trip meter, odometer, and a clock. The bike also incorporates an engine kill switch, led taillights, alloy wheels, and tubeless tires.
Fuel efficiency:
The apache rtr 160 offers decent fuel efficiency, an important factor for daily commuting. The exact mileage can vary depending on riding conditions and maintenance practices. On average, the bike delivers a mileage of around 45-50 km/l, making it a reasonably fuel-efficient option.
Price and variants:
The tvs apache rtr 160 is available in multiple variants, including drum brake, disc brake, and rear disc brake variants. The prices may vary depending on the features and specifications. As of my knowledge cutoff in September 2021, the price range for the tvs apache rtr 160 was approximately between inr 1 lakh to 1.10 lakhs in india.
Overall, the tvs apache rtr 160 offers a sporty design, impressive performance, and a comfortable riding experience. It is a popular choice among riders looking for a stylish and reliable motorcycle in the 160cc segment. It's always recommended to check the latest information and visit the official tvs motor company website or a dealership for the most up-to-date details on the specifications, features, and pricing of the tvs apache rtr 160.

Apache has a sporty seating position and I enjoyed riding in this style. But now riding it for more than 10 years, my back started paining. That's the reason I rated 4 stars. For youngsters it's a great bike.

My opinion is to buy the bajaj pulsar 150 instead of the Apache Rtr 160.
Pulsar 150 td is better than Apache 160 2v.

Apache rtr the name itself has a craze among Indian consumers there is a great picture of this bike that is sketchy in our mind here in this review I am gonna tell my 1 year of happiness but still a few cons of experience with this bike. So firstly let me tell you the pros of this bike, in this bike, there is a great stylish and well-polished body with a fine engine and great looks with a very nice driving experience. So what's the problem see my height is around 5 feet 8 inches, I think that every Indian is this kind of height so you can't feel much pain in the back but for tall drivers, it may feel very painful because of my friend he is of 6 feet and 2 inches he is feeling some difficulties after a ride. Rather than that, I haven't found any cons till now. Yes after service each and every problem-related engine or anything else got fixed. I have done 4 services yet and those all are just mind-blowing. So if you are a good rider and if this is your 2nd bike then go for it. But if you want to buy this bike as a primary so in my opinion don't go for it. But if you want to buy it as your primary bike so you should have riding skills and also a good muscular body because it's a little bit heavy also and most important take a test ride. The rest of each and every segment like brakes, lights, buttons, lever quality, engine, seat comfort, suspension, and material durability is just fabulous and fantastic.
