About 502S

Benelli 502S is expected to launch in India in December 2023 in the expected price range of ₹ 5,00,000 to ₹ 6,00,000. Currently available bikes which are similar to 502S are CFMoto 650MT, Triumph Trident 660 & QJ Motor SRK 400. Another bike similar to 502S is Kawasaki Versys X-300 which is launching in June 2023 in India.

Benelli has two very similar looking motorcycles in the 402S City Cruiser and the 502S. Both products derive much of their design inspiration from the Ducati Diavel and are cruisers too. The 502S has the same number of cylinders and format, it being a parallel twin, but it has the larger engine displacement of the two, at 500cc. Power and torque stand at 47bhp and 45Nm. A steel trestle frame, inverted front forks, twin front discs for the front brake, and a stubby rear subframe and pillion seat complete the 502S. Dual channel ABS is standard fitment. The instrument cluster is a fully digital one, and lighting will be all-LED.

The 502S would be a good addition to the brand’s India portfolio, since it shares the powertrain with the TRK502 and is a cruiser, which the Indian market likes.  In the case of displacement, the Benelli 502S will compete with cruisers like the Royal Enfield Thunderbird, but it will be closer in intent and spec to bikes like the Bajaj Dominar 400.
