About Leoncino 800

Benelli Leoncino 800 is expected to launch in India in August 2023 in the expected price range of ₹ 8,00,000 to ₹ 9,00,000. Currently available bikes which are similar to Leoncino 800 are Moto Morini Seiemmezzo, Benelli Leoncino 500 & Ducati Scrambler Icon. Another bike similar to Leoncino 800 is Kawasaki Versys X-300 which is launching in June 2023 in India.

Benelli took the wraps off the Leoncino 800 at the 2019 EICMA in Milan, Italy. The motorcycle features a styling that has been inspired from scrambler motorcycles and looks similar to the Leoncino 500.

The Leoncino 800 sports a beefier fuel tank and an exposed steel trellis frame. It sports an oval-shaped full-LED headlamp that further differentiates it from the Leoncino 500. The motorcycle comes powered by a 754cc, liquid-cooled, parallel-twin engine that churns out 81bhp and 67Nm and has a claimed top-speed of 190kmph. It rides on 17-inch spoke wheels wrapped in dual-sport tyres which are suspended by beefy 50mm inverted forks up front and a monoshock at the rear. Meanwhile braking is handled by twin 320mm discs for the front and a 260mm single-disc at the rear sourced from Brembo. And apart from a dual-channel ABS, the Leoncino 800 is equipped with a colour TFT-display that shows tachometer, speed, gear indicator, trip meter, fuel gauge and clock.

We expect Benelli to launch the Leoncino 800 in India sometime later next year and compete against Ducati Monster 797.
