About Caponord 1200 ABS Travel

Introduced in 2013, the Aprilia Caponord 1200 is a street enduro motorcycle which also happens to be a sport tourer at heart. The Caponord 1200 has been designed to offer utmost comfort for two while riding with loads of luggage. Aprilia says it’s the ideal bike for long distance traveling as well as daily usage.

While the Caponord 1200 comes already fitted with a range of standard equipment, the Travel Pack version adds a set of 29-litre colour coded panniers, a centre stand, cruise control and a semi-active suspension system with 100 per cent active rear suspension.

The Caponord 1200 ABS Travel is powered by a compact 1197, V-Twin engine producing 125bhp and 115Nm of torque. This liquid-cooled unit promises fluid power delivery for everyday riding or touring over rough terrain. The engine comes with a triple engine mapping system, which the rider can select even on the move. There’s Touring, Sport and Rain for varied riding conditions.

The Caponord 1200 ABS Travel comes in at Rs 21.16 lakh (ex-showroom). The motorcycle competes against Ducati’s impressive Multistrada which starts at Rs 21.90 lakh (ex-showroom).
